Fontaine, je ne boirai pas de ton eau
Through the history of public urinals from 1400 to the present day, and more specifically Parisian vespasiennes, this 45 minutes performative lecture examines the gender hierarchy in public space and its other sexual deviations.
Over 100 illustrations, photographs, documents, film and sound excerpts enrich this research, which began in 2022, originally commissionned by Universiteit Lichtekooi in Anwerp.
